I think this is marketable. posted by: OldSchool (reply) post date: 05.13.08 (6:13 am) Very creative. If you would do a song for all 3 of them, maybe the Three's Company tv theme song would be appropriate. posted by: surrogate (reply) post date: 05.13.08 (6:17 am) Reply to: lorischuster I like McCain, but like Lewis Black says, we need the McCain of 2000, ya know, before he went bat-shit. posted by: surrogate (reply) post date: 05.13.08 (6:18 am) Reply to: OldSchool Go for it! posted by: fractalmom (reply) post date: 05.13.08 (6:28 am) just about sums it up. and who the *&^% is bob barr anyway???? posted by: surrogate (reply) post date: 05.13.08 (7:10 am) Reply to: fractalmom Mr. Barr is a special kind of... Well, propriety precludes me from saying. posted by: PastorDave (reply) post date: 05.13.08 (7:50 am) I'm not sure what Clinton is up to. She certainly has the right to continue to campaign, but why do so when it is obvious she has no chance for the nomination? Unless, she intends a strategy that I do not know. Perhaps there are plans to make every possible effort to seat delegates from Florida and Missouri, including a legal challenge? That sounds dubious to me, especially with the large black population of Michigan. Perhaps she is determined to make an ironclad case for the VP? Obama would not like such, but the odds of such happening are probably over 50%. And the pundits say she is praying for a breakdown on the part of her opponent, but he has already survived several debacles and has emerged as a teflon candidate. Is Limbaugh the culprit? As usual, he overstates his own impact- it seems the majority of Republicans who are crossing over are voting for Barack. It is all fun to watch. posted by: surrogate (reply) post date: 05.13.08 (7:53 am) Reply to: PastorDave Sometimes it IS fun. Other times, it just wears me out. I'm really not sure what she's thinking either. Her stated logic does make some sense, IF she really has a better chance against McCain, but I don't really don't think she does. I feel like it's not going to matter anyway. McCain will run to the left a bit, I think, and probably win a close one. posted by: PirateGirl (reply) post date: 05.13.08 (8:15 am) It's too bad they can't/(won't?) work togther - great lyrics! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 05.13.08 (12:44 pm) You hit all the right notes with this one. posted by: PastorDave (reply) post date: 05.14.08 (8:07 pm) I heard an interesting thought today- that Clinton could be preparing for an Independent run for the presidency. I sure hope it's true. posted by: surrogate (reply) post date: 05.14.08 (10:47 pm) Reply to: PastorDave I'll just bet you do. Can you say "McCain in a landslide"? |
